Chapter 7:
Alliances
Bruinen and Nawfar enter a comforting lounge where some of the other Planeteers stand around having small conversation with one another. Nawfar stands close to his side as some eyes drift toward them. Adeen and Adeus approach Bruinen and Nawfar with a warm smile on their faces.
“Sovereign Bruinen. Sovereign Nawfar. Proud to meet once again, in the flesh.” Adeen proudly announces with a chuckle.
“Emperor Adeen. Empress Adeus,” Bruinen acknowledges, “Delightfully returned.”
“The conflict Sultana brought upon us, I believe this duo handled the heat impressively,” Adeen chuckles to Adeus who encourages his light humor.
Emperor Adeen and Empress Adeus are the mother and father to the planet Zeebla. It is rich in heat and fire, second closest planet to their sun, in their galaxy realm. Adeen and Adeus were not strangers to Bruinen and the Acquavodians. The two elements of water and fire had been alliances for Millenniums. Adeen and Adeus and their people appreciate the finer things in life. They have visited many planets, always growing their collection of elements, creating bigger empires among their lands. Their cities are amazing, buildings of Tungsten that scrape the skies, often the tops become invisible through the thick gray clouds but the tips shine with pure gold. The transportation vehicles are all air born, gliding above the seas of fire; The planet of heat is definitely not ideal for people who live their life in and around water, though the temperatures of Acquavodo peek at times, it has never been as unbearable as Zeebla, when Bruinen has made his brief visits. Adeen and Adeus love to entertain and aren’t short of throwing elaborate galaxy parties, entertaining the Fathers and Mothers of other planets within the realms. They share their clothing among their party guest, which is made from the tungsten material, broken down to a light weight fabric cloth with assortment of colors; but here, on earth, the couple both fashion a material called leather in the color black. Adeus wears a short, form fitting dress and Adeen wears pants that hug his lean body while a simple white cotton shirt accompanies the outfit; their skin a golden brown, glistens against the materials. Adeus’ heals give her an unusual height, her bright orange and golden locks spiral down her back and she props herself consistently on Adeen, as if her body is partially infused to his. Adeen’s black leather boots don’t give him the height to Adeus towering over him, though they are both very tall in height to the rest of the humans in the room, Adeus continues to rest her chin on his bright tangerine head. Adeus twirls her long stone necklace that dangles charms from different planets they have traveled, Acquavodia's aqua stone amongst it. The couples radiance and energy is contagious and it is difficult to not laugh and embrace their enthusiastic charisma.
Nawfar gives a nervous chuckle referring to the incident with Sultana, “I was feeding on adrenaline in there.”
“Survival at its best,” Adeus encourages. “Shall I grab you a fresh drink?”
“A delightful idea.” Nawfar agrees, “I shall join you.”
The women embrace arms as they head toward the beverage table. The gesture was a thoughtful one from Adeus; for Adeen and Adeus can go months without taking in water and food, a luxury their bodies have produced for survival of their dry planet.
Emperor Adeen leans into Bruinen and gets to business, “We are awaiting Father Onfre and Mother Chesna, they are currently consulting with few leaders, here of Earth, that have their own alliances.”
“Alliances on one planet… irony that one planet needs alliances.” Bruinen wraps his head around the idea.
Emperor Adeen nods his head in agreement, “Zulima is waiting with us.”
Bruinen gazes across the room at Zulima who stares out the high rise window, alone. Zulima is the daughter of Father Onfre and Mother Chesna of the Cepae planet. All planets of light are balanced with a male and female counterpart, but all have changed their ruling names to the familiarity connected to the leadership kno on their planet, except the Cepaen Planet. The Father and Mother name are reminders to all light planets that the balance is needed in genders for peace and growth, the unity has strengths and weaknesses needed to prosper the planets.
A man comes up behind Bruinen and Adeen squeezing between them. “Umberto.” He announces to Bruinen and he drapes his arms around the two.
Adeen confirms as he introduces the two, “Sovereign Bruinen, Czar Umberto, in the flesh.”
“Pleasure. Briefly may have bumped arms at a Zeebla affair.” Bruinen tries to remember.
“Indeed.” Announces Umberto. “Nawfar, your counter partner, wooed Herminia at an affair if I recall. Appears they have already rallied,” he gleefully announces with a slight nod in their direction.
Bruinen gives a warm smile as he appears across the room and sees Nawfar laughing in glee between the two women with an additional third woman, whom Bruinen thought he remembered her to be Leewana, from the planet Dwin. Nawfar’s petite figure in comparison to the taller women was endearing to Bruinen. Most planets’, Father and Mother Counterpart, had long bridged the liaison in their relationships, but Bruinen and Nawfar were the odd that hadn’t. Their love ran truly deep for one another, but when it came to intimacy they have found sexual partnerships in others on their planet. This lifestyle was common for the Acquavodian people; their life partner was not one they felt drawn to sexually. Sex and commitment were not a combination on their planet and having multiple sexual partners was common. Finding sexual compatibly in your life partner was rare and they often remained celibate from their life partners. It was sometimes uncomfortable to be around the other planets’ leaders whom were so open in their sexual attractions; however Bruinen also knew cultures, as the Zeebla people, whom have sexual relationships openly with others, while enjoying the intimacy of their life partner.
Bruinen rarely found himself wondering what it would be like to intertwine his legs amongst petite Nawfar’s little body, but if he does, he quickly shakes the idea from his head. Crossing the boundaries to their perfect partnership could be eternally damaging to their relationship. He would raise Nawfar’s child as his own and his offspring would find a partnership in Nawfar’s born; their children would then Sovereign the planet when it was time.
Umberto brought Bruinen’s attention back to the trio, “Lovely, they are.” He grinned about the women, “Have you noticed who is missing from the room?”
“Enlighten.” Adeen encourages.
“Ceniathiancs. If they are part of the Planeteers then where are they?” Umberto raises an eyebrow.
Bruinen scans the room or a moment and notices Adeen is doing the same. Umberto has raised more than a valid point. At that moment the door flings open and Father Onfre and Mother Chesna gracefully fill the room. Their aurora is so powerful amongst the room of light souls they are almost blinding. The immediate response would be to hug the duo, their empowering energy leads you to crave the embrace; but you must instruct your body to stand still so you can listen to what they need to speak.
“Welcome everyone.” Father Onfre announces with a jolly tone in his voice. “Wonderful having us united together. Our energy of light, powerful amongst one another without a cloud of darkness to dim us. Please have a seat and rest your body.”
The commotions in the room dwindle as naturally each female and male counterpart drift toward each other and find a seat, Adeus choosing Adeen’s lap as her personal chair.
Onfre chooses two seats and holds one out for Chesna, after first waving his hand over the seat, a comfy white pillow vaguely appearing. She adjusts her sleek golden, sparkling, translucent dress before she gracefully lowers herself into the chair. She then slightly waves her hand over his chair allowing him the same comfort as he nods in appreciation before relaxing. They clasp their hands into one another and the room feels, immediately, a stronger, brighter energy through it. Zulima sits next to the window where she has been standing instead of joining her mother and father’s side.
Onfre clears his throat and begins, “Please remember as I speak, the Earthlings are made of different energies than us. Some light, some dark and some gray, if you will. We, Chesna and I, have chosen to invite only the light energies among us, if some of you have had any question to why the Ceniathiancs were not upon us.” Umberto proudly gives a head nod to Adeen and then over to Bruinen as Onfre continues, “Unlike Earthlings, whom also can loom with the gray energy, Ceniathincs cannot be swayed toward light or darkness, they just continue on the fence of a skewed moral compass, making choices that will benefit their kind and species. It is with this information, Chesna and I have great feeling that they cannot be trusted among the Planeteers.” He pauses for a brief moment with a glance at Chesna who stays silent and gently rubs her thumb against the back of his hand.
“With this information,” he continues with a slight sigh, “You must also know not all four walls are silent. We are among the Earthlings governments and many are not free from listening devices. We are currently free in this room and so it is why Chesna and I highly insisted we unite here.”
Distinctive worry and mild chatter amongst one another quickly spreads through the room. Bruinen turns to Nawfar and she simply shakes her head in disbelief.
“So the Earthlings spy on us and we are not to know when they do?” a woman named Chilam calls out. Her partner, Yas, nods in agreement.
“Precisely.” Onfre admits.
Disagreement begins to circulate the room but suddenly is interrupted by a peaceful energy that is emitted and everyone turns their attention back to the Cepaen couple. “The Earthlings are instilled with fear after the encounter with Queen Sultana. She has successfully added doubt in their minds; fear and doubt is ones’ own enemy, as you all know. We need to reassure the Earthlings of the Planeteers’ intentions, by allowing them access to knowledge of some of the realm portals throughout their land; Ones preferably that we know of and do not use for ourselves. The Cepeans actively use a portal between states, of the country we are currently residing in this moment; they are called New York and Massachusetts. We recruit amalgams on the Earth planet bring them to a temporary shelter we built underground, educating them of who they are. We also have to protect our species from a dark force who is trying to destroy our core; To tell the Earthlings of this portal, we use, would be problematic in preventing Nutrevene’s ruler from intercepting our planet’s amalgams.”
“Nutrevene is in another galaxy other than ours. Why are they after the Cepae people?” Adeen ask the question the Planeteers are all wondering.
“It has been a battle for centuries between our planets of light and darkness. I do not know why they are taking amalgams from Earth. I find it difficult to spread the clouds of darkness to visualize their intentions.”
Yas speaks up to remind Onfre, “Cepae always has the Planeteers for aid.” As he speaks the words his counterpart nods in agreement as others do in the room.
Chesna grips Onfre’s hand a little tighter with a small grin to him. Onfre warmly smiles to his friends, “While we are honored to have your blessed light, we rather you stay safe than give your souls for ours. Thank you for the brave and kind gesture.”
Adeen changes the subject back to the original focus, “Adeus and I have the gateway on Earth, located in a dry land called the Sahara desert, much like the underground you described of the Cepaen people. It is located outside an area, the Earthlings call Egypt. Our descendants had built cities here and Adeus and I still use the undergrounds to recruit our miscegenation for training. The ancient pyramids are already a challenge to navigate with Earthlings visiting the areas frequently. The monograms and artifacts hidden in the temples are of great importance to our teachings. To disclose that gateway is not ideal for our planet.”
“Very well.” Onfre agrees.
Bruinen glances to Nawfar for approval before he speaks. She nods in agreement and he begins, “Nawfar and I have decided that the portal above our old Atlantis ruins could be ideal. We would like our people to further research the area of our descendants before they fled to escape demise. We are willing to work with the Earth’s scientific research facilities to uncover Atlantis and educate them with what we already know.” Nawfar chews on her lip as Bruinen disclose the idea to Onfre and Chesna.
Suddenly Chesna finds her voice and excitedly claps her hands together before her wide eyes as she has surprising revelation. She turns to Father Onfre as if they are the only two in the room and exclaims, “It is brilliant! This will work! Do you see it?”
Father Onfre smirks at Chesna’s childlike epiphany and he gazes at her as he nods reassuring, “Yes. Yes I do.”
They stare at each other for a moment mirroring each other’s grins and facial expressions as if they are in a room alone. Onfre finally gazes in Bruinen’s direction, “Delightful idea, Bruinen. Nawfar and you will join Chesna and I in a conference when we disclose the information to the Earthlings.”
Nawfar squeezes Bruinen’s hand proudly and bashfully smiles. Somehow, being recognized by the Cepae Father and Mother is more delightful and energizing than one could imagine.
Umberto decides to speak, “The gateway the vampires use. Should we not disclose this?”
The Planeteers turn toward each other in dismay. Onfre gives a slight ‘hmmm’ as he ponders the idea. “It could have its benefits. It could also be destructive. The darkness is thick for my vision. What do you amongst us feel?” Onfre inquiries from the others.
Rhian, the female counterpart of Gwydion, planet Scylitam suddenly becomes vocal, “This idea worries Gwydion and I. I feel most likely Queen Sultana would retaliate in the revelation. She could use our betrayal to benefit her justification against the Earthlings.”
Umberto adds another scenario to the table, “While I agree Rhian and Gwydion, the Earthlings could also become aware on the vampire tactic to intrude on their world, safeguard this gateway, and cease her from building an army with voluntary Earthlings.”
“Both are valid points.” Onfre looks upon Chesna as if he is only speaking to her. She nods with a concern brow upon her face.
“We should vote.” Chesna barely finds her voice in the statement. “The fates should decide,” she continues as the energy feels to dim in the room.
Onfre turns his bearded face toward the Planeteers. “Please decide among your counterpart to agree with the revelation on the portal or to disagree.”
Bruinen leans into Nawfar who nervously chews on her lip. “I don’t trust Queen Sultana.” She whispers to Bruinen.
“With powerful reason.” He agrees with Nawfar.
“Then we are in agreement?” Nawfar questions.
“Yes.” Bruinen nods.
Onfre announces, “Everyone has made their decision.” Onfre and Chesna could feel the vibes of the decisions made. The room filled with energy of light and goodness; there was no worry of dishonesty or betrayal, and all Planeteers were accustomed to the Cepae couple to simply announce the vote. “We disclose of Planet Devibote`s’ easy gateway to the Earth Planet.”
As Father Onfre announces this decision a powerful energy leaves Bruinen and a pit in his stomach feels unsettled, noticing Nawfar and some other Planeteers sense it too. Nawfar slightly digs her nails into Bruinen’s flesh allowing him to understand her disapproval.
Chesna words sound distorted as they leave her mouth, “The fates have chosen.” She warns, “There are moments for questions. There are moments for doubt. There are moments for fear.” She pauses gazing among the Planeteers, her eyes appear hallow as if her soul is somewhere else. “Let us not question our fate. Let us do what we are called upon to do.”
Father Onfre stands from his chair as if he has joined Chesna on another frequency he softly whispers, “She’s here.”
The Planeteers fall into mild confusion, Bruinen keeps his eyes peeled on the revealing couple. He holds on to Nawfar’s knee as Mother Chesna’s words flow out in slow motion, “I…..Know…. It’s Sultana. Its begun.”
**************************************************
President Euguen pours himself Tuica in a stubby whisky glass. He sips on it as he crosses the dim lit room toward the mahogany sofa in the corner room. It feels good to be an individual, as he has much information to process and report to the Prime Minister of his country. He grabs the Washington Post off the decorative table and sits on the couch while grabbing a quick glance at the time on his cell phone. A little less than two hours before they would be dismissed to their hotels for the evening. He has secretly hoped the next meeting would take place in the morning where he could process information with a fresh eye. The taunt from the strigoi was a distraction from the information he needs to take home. He gulps down the rest of the Tuica and refreshingly gazes through the glass in front of him, as the hot liquid burns, sliding down his esophagus.
Euguen quickly startles as a glimpse of fluorescent light beats through the glass distorting a figure from across the room. The glass slips from his grips, dropping to the floor as the familiar figure slinks toward him, he cowers into the cushion, “Wha…What are you doing here?” He manages to blurt out.
“Don’t panic,” Queen Sultana mocks at him, “Pathetic. You’re the President of Romania. Represent your country with pride.”
He vastly stands to his feet and distances himself from Sultana by pulling his body behind the couch. “I have nothing but pride for my country.” He makes sure to correct her. “You are a blood thirsty strigoi and I have plenty reason to be weary in your presence.”
Sultana halts in the middle of the room and slightly chuckles. “If I want your blood, that couch is not going to protect you.”
“It is closer to the door.” He reminds her. “How did you find your way in here?”
Sultana badgers him, “Does it matter? Let us talk, Euguen. All these games can be exhausting, don’t you agree?” Sultana slinks her body toward the couch and flicks at her fingers, pretending to not notice Euguen backing up toward the beverage cabinet and pulling the ice pick into his palm.
“Really, dear, an ice pick?” she announces. “Insulting. Sit.”
“And if I don’t you will try to make me. You are evil. Where is your mutt?” Euguen tries to distract her with questions as he feels around for the door knob.
Sultana glares at his direction, “Leeke is a Rottweiler." she stresses, "And if you step outside that door I will come to your hotel room, tonight, with other intentions than talking.” She puckers her lips in a pouting fashion and taps the couch with her hand, “Come, Euguen. Just to talk.” She seduces.
He pauses for a moment and then decides to head towards her. “To talk.” He confirms. “And you must stay away from my hotel room.”
“Unless you invite me in.” she wickedly grins, her incisor grabbing at the light.
Eugen hesitantly lowers his body sitting across from her on the couch.
“Any closer?” Sultana taunts, “I promise I won’t bite.”
“I’m fine right here.” He assures her.
“Very well.” She agrees. “Ask your questions.” She commands.
“I don’t have any questions for you.” He tries to sound confident.
Sultana winks, “Go ahead.”
He hesitates for a moment and then blurts out, “What is true? I need to know.”
“There are many truths.” She confirms. “You are week and have lost your voice," she pauses briefly, then with a slight raise to her eyebrow she finishes,"But your mind speaks loudly.”
His eyes widen and she slowly scoots her rear end against the couch toward him. She continues speaking as if she were answering his silent questions “I can tell you that your people have adequate suspicion. Much of my army has come from Earth; much has come from your country. There is no longer reason to fear the unknown. Join me, Euguen.”
He shakes his head at her. “My people would never join you. Why would we join what we have feared most over centuries? Romania is not joining a witless, bloodsucking strigoi.” He spits out at her from under his breath.
Sultana tosses her head in the air as if offended, “Words.” She mutters. “Words. Words. Words.”
She slides closer and he stands up from the couch. “Enough. Leave Sultana.”
“Careful, Euguen, you may put me in a feeding frenzy.” She warns as if she is slightly disgusted.
“No more threats, Sultana. Kill me or leave; either way, more of Earth will know what a monster strigoi is.” He struts toward the door not making it far before Sultana flings her body in front of him, grabbing him by his neck.
He gasps for air for a moment as she loosens her grip. Their eyes lock and the terror he had momentarily felt, quickly fades off his face. “Yes.” She whispers “You are afraid to die.”
“If I were one of you I would still be dead. I don’t have the evil your soul bares.” Euguen reminds her.
She peels her claws from his neck and runs her nails down his arm. “You want to hate me. But you want me. You want to have sex with Me.” she confirms to him.
His eyes wonder to her voluptuous breast for a moment and then rapidly returns to her amber eyes.
“Your disgusting.” He coldly announces.
She slides her hand down the outside of his pants seizing his erection in her palms. “How disgusting?” she smirks between her teeth.
His eyes grow wide as she clutches him tighter cupping his girth. His eyes close for a moment from the pleasurable sensation but he fights to fling them open. “So many beautiful women on my planet.” She informs him, as she slowly unbuttons his shirt, while she continues to stroke his hardness. “Lovely, sexy women. We have sex on my planet quite often as we are creatures of passion, Euguen.” She softly seduces working her fingers through his shirt and pulling it off his shoulders.
Euguen stands motionless. His hard erection wanting her to satisfy his dark urges. Her fingers slide to his pant's button and she pushes him backward toward the lonely couch.
“With a small amount of pain, you can live forever, with the fruit of life at your everyday pleasure. No one to judge you. No one to impress. No feelings of guilt or fear.” She pushes him on to the couch as she hovers over him, his eyes hungry for her breast, his hands fall upon them struggling to push them out of her brazier. She unbuttons his pants jerking them to his knees. He releases her breast from their restrain and as they free themselves above his mouth, he snatches one in his mouth, while gripping the other. Her eyes fall into her skull and her neck stretches toward the ceiling as the sensation in her body pulls her on top of him. She pushes his face in between her breast, grabbing his erection between her hands. He pulls her away and stares at her pale face and sultry red lips.
“Are you going to kill me?” he whispers from under his heavy breaths of air.
“I want you to say you will join my alliance. Then I will fuck you.” She articulates.
Euguen slithers his hands up her dress pushing it over her knees. His hand glides toward her inner thighs searching with his fingers against her smooth skin. He pushes his fingers inside her as her body thrust upward from the sensational jolt. She wraps tighter around his hard erection as he thrust his fingers violently inside of her while grabbing her erect nipple between his teeth.
He pulls his hand back and releases her breast for a moment pulling her face to his. “I’ll join you,” his ample voice beats against her plump scarlet lips. Sultana smirks as she gently nibbles on his lips, then flinging her body back in the air. He wraps her thighs around him sliding his massive girth between her wet genitalia. His eyes fall as he throbs inside her. “I’ll be yours forever.” He passionately confirms as he grasp her pelvic thrusting harder.
